Why should I map my categories on avecdo?
Product feed mapping of your categories is really just a categorization, it makes it much easier for the sales channels – when choosing how your categories fit with their own.
What happens is that you choose the categories we have read from your shop on the left, and choose one of Google’s categories to the right (Just by searching it).
Examples
As you can see in the screenshot below, you can see for example “Clothing” – there is a folder directly to “Clothing and accessories> Clothing” – and here you can choose a standard sex on the clothes in this category.
“Posters” mapped directly to “Home and Garden> Decor> Illustrations> Posters, Print and Visual Artworks”
The reason we have to go through this process is that we need a “template”. This is to know what to send to all the different channels, which also have their unique categories each

You save money by using the time doing the mapping
If you DO NOT map your categories precisely enough, your advertising spending on, for example, Google Shopping and Facebook will be much higher.
However, you will be able to save a lot of money if you spend the time it takes to make this mapping process.
It is RECOMMENDED to map their categories, otherwise multiple sales channels may reject your data.
The step we call “Product feed mapping”.
Product feed mapping of categories – really just means that we download your category set from the webshop.
This is adapted to a template, and from that template we can then adapt all categories to the sales channels’ unique categories.
It may sound like an annoying thing to go through, but it’s actually much easier than you think. We have done most of the work!
All you have to do now is to go to the Mapping page and start.
Just click on “Add Manual Mapping” and select one of your own categories to the left, after which you search for a corresponding one on the right.
